It's the same old story IMO, first there's the OS followed by updates for hardware
drivers & software tweaks. I've been using 7 as my main (and only) OS flawlessly since 7000.
To re-itterate, I think a lot of issues are to do with certain hardware not yet being 'Windows 7 Supported' by the hardware vendor. This is slowly changing, for example Intel now support Windows 7 & I had an update for my Wireless adapter yesterday...
Ok, back on topic....Why ask where Windows 8 is when 7 isn't even on the shelves?
Bit premature if you ask me, we need to give hardware/software vendors a chance to get their s***t together first LOL
