Windows 7 Local Disk Default Folders?

    Windows 7 Local Disk Default Folders?


    Hi, can someone please list the default folders on a fresh install of windows 7 x64 Home Premium sp1 "C:/ folder" please. Just want to make sure everythings in there.

    yeah but you had

    show hidden folders! enable , you had to disable.

    and also you have x86

    If something is wrong with your install, you'll know it. What gives you any reason to believe you wouldn't have all the necessary folders in there? Is there a specific problem you're having?

    Then you just add a second Program Files for the 64bit edition of Windows. Not rocket science. But those directories I posted are want exists in a clean installation and those that matter.

    +1, but I just want to add one thing: the C:\Boot folder. It's an invisible folder and will not be present if you have a separate 100MB system partition that Windows boots from, but if your boot files are on the same partition as Windows, they'll be in this folder (plus the bootmgr file in the root folder).
