Perhaps this will help..

Right click desktop, left clik on personalize.
Click screen saver bottom right corner.
If there is a tick in the "On resume display login screen" remove it.

And another thought;

You can do start, run netplwiz and remove the tick from "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer"

You should also look in the CP - Power Options -
Choose your plan (Balanced?) - Change Plan Settings. - Change Advanced Power settings.
In the first option, make sure you have "Require a Password on wake up", set to NO

Computer stays on, but computer locks up
This is for my sister's computer and she keeps telling me the computer crashes. Recently she had a similar issue where the computer screen would go black after weird artifact flashing and whatnot so I thought it was driver related, or GPU related. I swapped her old card for a new 285 GTX, but...

Computer locks up randomly
Guys I've got a problem with a Dell 1525 laptop I was hoping someone could offer some insight into. Recently, say the last two weeks, the computer has started freezing randomly even when it is just sitting idle doing nothing but showing the desktop. The mouse will still move, but the computer...
