How can I make "desktop" appear pls

When I go to Start/Document, on the left panel there appears under "favorites" Desktop, Downloads, and Recent Places. My Desktop icon suddenly disappears. Would you please show me how to make Desktop on left panel appears again? Thanks.

Hello Titi,

The tutorial below may be able to help you restore the default "Desktop" link under Favorites in the navigation pane.
