Windows 7: default file/folder icon size won't hold when inserting into FrontPage

default file/folder icon size won't hold when inserting into FrontPage

It's possible this is a FrontPage issue, but it seems like a Windows 7 issue to me.

When I go to insert a picture on a page in FrontPage, the "picture" window pops up, allowing me to traverse my Windows folders and files to select a picture.

I go to choose the "icon size" for my photos and it will not remember the selection, "large icons" for the size of my photos in the selection window. It always reverts back to "small icons". I can't make out such small folders and pictures. No matter which option I choose to view my pictures it always reverts back to "small icons".

Is this a Windows issue? I'm not sure why it just started happening.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
