Crazy folder just appeared with wisecustomcalla41 in it

    I run a W7 Home Premium 64 bit machine

Although my computer isnt acting strangely and there are no symptoms of being infected I happen to have run across a strange folder in the primary users account. the folder is titled: CCBAA1F7E5E148B29ED9A79C6A37CE78.TMP

and in that folder are a bunch of files. I have attached a screen shot. Any idea what this is all about? I have seen mention of it being related to Cisco VPN client installs, which I have installed recently but there are also references to it being malicious so I dont know what to think.

I have scanned with Microsoft Security essentials, Malwarebytes, and Superantispyware and absoultely nothing was found.

    Has anybody seen this before

From what I've seen, this is a McAfee issue. Did you (or do you) have McAfee installed?

windows - WiseCustomCalla.dll ? What is that? - Super User
Let me google that for you

Thanks for the reply. This PC is not all that old and I may have had McAfee pre-installed but I dont know for sure. The first thing I do when I get a new PC is delete all the garbage that comes with it, so if McAfee is what was on here when I purchased it, it wasnt for long.
What is strange though is that this just showed up, I uninstalled all the pre-loaded garbage a couple of months ago.
I followed the threads you provided and will try the McAfee uninstall tool to see if it's a remnant.
    Thanks for the leads
