Windows: 7100 RC1 & Vista SP2

Don't like to have to use a program to do what the command line can do and I hate installing programs just for something that is this simple.

Good post Chuckr

Great easy peasy command ChuckR. thanks but the only thing I like to add is only type XP Professional in Boot.ini if you actually wish for your multi boot menu name to be shown as XP Professional in Boot.ini, otherwise simply type in between the quotation marks "XP Professional" end of or else your multi menu name will be XP Professional in Boot.ini. Thanks again ChuckR.

Existing Windows 7 - Adding XP on VHD (external?) to make "dual boot".
Hi guys, Here's the scenario. A while ago I was using Windows XP Pro on my laptop. I was then forced to switch completely to Windows 7, but because I had so many application and configurations done on the XP, I created a VHD from it (using this) before replacing it. Now, I want to know if its...

I've been using Windows 7's Backup and Restore to back up the 500-GB hard drive on my laptop. The hard drive has about 290 GB of data on it; I'm backing up onto an otherwise blank 1-TB USB external drive. The first backup took ~1-2 days, and used about 400 GB. The next couple of weekly backups...
