    Hibernation and Performance Issues

First Hello to everybody I just joined the seven forum.

My pc will not return from the sleep mode, after it goes into sleep mode my g15 keyboard is flashing like its having a seizure. I have to cut the power in order to reboot and it takes good 5 min to boot. Even after a 2 hour power cut after it resumes it reopens all the programs that were running when it went into hibernation.

It takes forever for the welcome screen with password to load and it delays when putting in the password. Also the whole system seems to run sluggish.

I did update the Asus Bios 0504 and chipset drivers
    Thanks for the Help

    My Specs
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
    Asus p6t deluxe v2
    i7 920
    6GB OCZ 1600mhz
    EVGA GTX 285
    800Watt OCZ
    Hitachi 1TB

Finally Asus changed their beta drivers to a full version, with seems to fix the problem. Manual install required.

    Hi,

Same issue here. Mine is even extended when I close the lid (my setting, do nothing when lid close). When I re-open the lid, screen stays black and I have to remove the battery and insert.

    I have a HP-G60.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Just a follow-up on my post.

I used Driver Genuis to update my drivers and now everything is working great.

    Thanks.

Mine will not stay in "sleep" mode. It goes there, the light on the box is blinking and after about 10 sec it wakes up. Can't figure out what wakes it up though. Any help and ideas will be appreciated.
    Thanks

Well, I guess I'm answering my own question.
If you have problem of Win 7 not staying in sleep mode, check power settings of your network card. Go to Device Manager, Network Adapters, Properties of your card and than Power Management. Uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer".
    Helped me.

My issues actually still presists, i will now try to install a different hibernation mode. I know that manufractures like vaio hp asus and such offer their own hibernation software maybe that will fix the issue.

Might also want to check your nic/wifi card for wake on lan. Uncheck

I just disabled the magic packet and pattern match in my lan like wake up capabilities like zigzag suggested. I will let you guys know if that worked. If i return from sleep mode immediately it always worked, but the issues arises when its in sleep for several hours.
