    Whats currently the newest w7 version?

    and will they upgrade that 1 aigan to an higher level?

    i have build 7260 can i just upgrade it to an higher level or do i need to reinstall everything?

    7600 is the sign-off build

    It's recommended that you do a 'clean' installation as oppose to upgrading. Upgrade can be done but it's not worth it.

    That's correct, you can use the Windows Easy Transfer tool to backup your user data & settings.
       Note
    You will need to re-install your applications after performing a clean install

    The only way to find that out is work at Microsoft and see a changelog...you will have to install it and find out whats new...nor other way
