| | Windows 7 RC freezing on login, desktop, shutdown Hi All I have had big problems with Windows 7 RC. It was working fine for about a month, then all of a sudden it started freezing. When I boot into safemode it works fine. If I boot normally the laptop mouse and keyboard will freeze on the login screen and desktop and when I shut down the screen goes blank for about 10-15 mins. I plugged in a USB keyboard and this seems to work ok. I have checked the drivers and they are up to date and working ok. I have also re-installed the RC but it was very slow installing and now is exactly the same. Laptop details: Processor: AMD Turion64 x2 TL-50 (1.6 GHz, 512 KB L2 cache total, 256 KB on each core) RAM: 2 GB 533 MHz DDR2 RAM (2 x 1024 MB) Hard Drive: 80 GB Hitachi 5400 RPM HD Please help!!! |
