    Situation:

I moved "Documents" folder to D:/ root with out realising that I need to create document folder on d partition. Now when I click on documents it points to D but I can not find "documents" folder so that I can select properties and then restore it to its default location on C:.Can not find documents folder on D or C.

Please see attached screenshot which tells me documents folder is located on D.

    Need

How to restore "Documents" folder to default location on C: ? as I can not find documents folder on D but its located on D.

Thanks for your all in advance.

Hello online, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to restore the default location of your Documents folder. Afterwards, you can try moving it again. :)

User Folders - Restore Default Location

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
