can't delete an icon in Recycle Bin

    can't delete an icon in Recycle Bin


    after a clean installation of windows 7 Ultimate 32bit , there is an icon named - File folder - and pointed with mouse shows the path C:Users\User\Favorites\ . I have tried many times to delete it but nothing . I tried to delete it using the command prompt with the same result . Any help ?


    *** the message I get : the file you specified is not valid or too long

    Happy Newyear, and use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

    Use the FileAssassin option on it to delete that file ! :)

    Also, did you do a refresh in that folder (right-click > refresh)

    Gianni , I used the FileAssassin tool of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware program and the File folder icon open contained four other folders ( Favorites bar , Microsoft Websites , Windows Live , MSN Websites ) which deleted and an other one with no name which I coudn't remove it , so the problem still remains . I must thank you anyway and wish you A Happy New Year !

    I used the Windows 7 Manager v 3.02 ---> Cleaner ---> Junk File Cleaner and all of a sudden the icon disappeared from the Recycle Bin . So there is no problem any more . Thanks a lot .
