Fixed it, ATI driver problem, the new 11.12 drivers load something into Kernal so when i end tasks there is an outstanding process which the PC cannot see... task manager stops responding, only choice is too reboot.

I went back to 11.10 no more problem, a list of what i kill

    1) ccc
    2) Mon
    4) Daemon tools hlp
    5) No sleep hdd
    6) Razor Gaming Mouse Utility
    7) taskeng
    8) unsercapps
    9) sidebar
    10) ATIxxx
    11) Presentation Font Cache
    12) mbamservice
    13) TeaTimer
    14) Disable internet when gaming offline
    15) Stop all IS, Adaware, Malware programs....

See nothing harmfull to my PC, i have a kick as rig, just that when gaming whats the point of having loads of process running when not needed as it does munch your processor and ram, get rid of the simple process and you notice games run how they should lag free, no stuttering...perfect.... been doing this for years, not one problem when offline, i use a bat file to turn everything back when i go online....

I had to sign up just to post on this. What a colossal fail here on the part of those who were supposed to be contributing help to the OP.

Instead of addressing what the OP was trying to accomplish you Critiicized him the whole time. He actually listed non essential or non critical programs that he stopped, and instead of examining his file list you misdiagnosed his problem without taking into regard that he mentions that he has regular done before with no hang ups.

OP, I'm sorry that you had to go through that and I'm happy to see that you worked your way to a suitable fix because the first question in this forum that should have been asked was "Have you installed any new drivers lately?"
