Windows 7: redo uncompressed files

07 Jan 2012   #1

windows 7 64 bit

i selected a folderr to compress but since some files were in use i had to skip compressing them. I later closed the program that were using those files and now iam sure that no other program will be using that folder. Manually searching for uncompressed files is not feasible. Does anyone know how to compress those files that i missed ?

EDIT:
oh i found out a way. compact /f option will do this for me right ?

EDIT:
hey it doesnt work either. I ran compact /s:"Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0" /F several times and the output was

Of 12099 files within 1438 directories
12071 are compressed and 28 are not compressed.

How can i force the compression of those 28 files ? Visual studio is not running at the moment.
