JEM183, Tell us the make/model of the printer , If this is the first time you have tried networking the printer it could be just a matter of configuration settings causing the problems , With most wireless printers you have to setup using the USB cable first on the Main computer ,then add the Printer software to the secondary (laptop) computer if done in that order ,Windows will set the required network settings automatically :)

I've had this printer networked for a long time and it was working fine until I got that malware. Now it doesn't want to print from any computer. I directly connected my laptop to the printer via a USB cable and printed using the "local" printer setting rather than the network and it printed, so I know the printer itself is actually working. But somehow, anything that is networked is not printing. When I try to troublesheet it, it says it can't "ping" the print driver or print setting...something like that. It is a Brother printer...MFC5490C I believe..sorry not near the printer right now. Thanks for all your help. It is greatly appreciated.
