Hello Ranafge, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Did you turn off the page file, or set it to be to low by chance?

You need more memory. 2GB isn't enough to run 64 bit versions of Windows very well. Windows x64 works much better with 4GB. If you can't upgrade your RAM, increase the size of your pagefile and run fewer memory intensive programs at once.

Unfortunately, with only 2GB of RAM, it's not going to be a speed demon. How much do you have open and running at the time when it gets slower? You may need to not have so much running at once until you area able to add more RAM. The link below at Dell says your laptop can have up to 6GB of RAM.

It wouldn't hurt to do a full scan of your system with MalwareBytes free just to be safe though.

You're most welcome. I'm happy to hear that it's running well again. Be sure to scan every so often to help make sure that it is still clean though.
