    Icons disappeared from the task bar after installing new language


    I have a Lenovo Think Pad with Windows 7 Professional, 32 bit. I had about 10 application icons pinned to the task bar. After adding a new keyboard language the icons disappeared and the scroll button (the one with the up & down arrows) moved all the way to the left of the of the task bar close to the Start button, hence not allowing any icons to be shown on the task bar. Can any one please help restore these icons to the way it was before???

    Hi Rami, welcome to 7F! :)

    What I would like you to try is to stop Windows Explorer, and then re-start it.
    See: Explorer.exe - Kill all processes at once
    It will tell you how to re-start explorer.exe below Step #2.

    There is a registry edit we can try if this does not work.
