OK, it seems I have to put up with it.
Anyways, thanks all for help and explanations!

(To seavixen32: the dvd contains a fairytale series that my 2 year old daughter requires every day at least once or twice and since I rarely need the dvd for any other purpose ... I think I will rip the dvd to hdd next time...)

Good idea, put it on the HDD. Or if you leave the disk in, now you know why it does it and just ignore it.

In that case, having had three daughters myself, I think I'd have left the DVD in the drive too! :)
