Need help with a reboot disk

My computer crashed today and I can't get it to boot up. I can hit ESC during startup and get the menu. I ran all the tests and everything passed. I am trying to create a Windows 7 disk so I can boot it from there since my computer won't start up. I'm not sure where I can download this. If anyone knows where to download this please let me know. Also, if you have any ideas on my computer I will appreciate any ideas. I don't really want to restore the system and lose everything. I don't know much about computers either so if you could dumb down your responses that would be great
    Thanks in advance.

Startup repair functions are on the windows 7 installation disc. You need the same bit version ( 32 or 64 bit ) as the windows 7 you have installed.

If you have one of those - boot it up - or borrow one- otherwise, google is your friend.

One thing that you can perhaps do is to use a boot CD/DVD like "Bart's CD-Rom Boot Disk" or "Hiren's BootCD 15.1" and access your Drives to copy and paste the data you want to save on other than the C Drive and then re-install Windows 7.

Ok, I've checked out a few of the things mentioned. I found out I have 64 bit version. Does anyone have a link to a download of the Windows disk I need to boot directly from the disk? I've done some searching and I'm not sure what I need exactly. Thanks

All of the repair functions are on the installation disk if you have one. If not you can borrow one of the same X64 version you have. You can also use a repair disk from any computer running the same version you have. Create one yourself from that by going to control panel, backup my computer, and in the left column, select create system repair disk. You can also download an installation disk from My Digital Life.

I don't have any other computers running Windows 7. Also don't have an installation disk. The My Digital Life link you gave me...if I download that and burn it to a cd I can put it in my other laptop and boot Windows up that way?

You need a dvd to burn the installer to . You can use a cd to make a startup repair disc.

Download your version of Windows7 and burn the iso to a dvd with imgburn at no faster then 4x.
