Howdy,
I don't think I had as many questions in the six years I used WinXP as I have had the first month of using Windows 7...lol
Today on 3 of 5 reboots I discovered multiple Event Viewer errors centered around 'Search'.
The first error message reads: Windows (3828) Windows: Error -1811 occurred while opening logfile C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\MSS0005F.log.
Event Xml:
Another of the error messages reads:
The Windows Search Service is being stopped because there is a problem with the indexer: The catalog is corrupt.
Details:
The content index catalog is corrupt. (HRESULT : 0xc0041801) (0xc0041801)
Event Xml:
There are 12 straight error entries referring to 'Search'. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks and regards,
