    Cannot Access CMD (Command Prompt)

Hi, i made an Upgrade from Vista Home premium to Windows 7 RTM and
well the thing is that i cant acces CMD it gives me this message "Windows cannot
access the specified drive, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate
permissions to access the item" and the thing is that the file is indeed in the
system32 folder i cant access by anyway possible, is there a way that i
can fix this or restore it?

    Thanks in advance

alright then...just do a repair install...

Run Windows 7 setup within Windows 7 and install to the OS drive being used right now. It will overwrite all system files while keeping your apps and other files intact and working

    This sure doesn't seem right...

The executable, cmd.exe seems to be OK, from what you've said about the copy, out of \sys32.

Open a command window and type: set (then, Enter)

Have a look at a few items of interest:

    ComSpec=
    Path=
    PATHEXT=
    SystemDrive=
    SystemRoot=

These should all indicate the usual, with C:\ etc.

You should be able to catch anything "out of ordinary"...

    Things just ain't right here....
