My sincere congratulations. You must be the first and only perfect PC user throughout times! I think you should remember we mere mortals can not avoid making mistakes. An operating system can not be designed for one perfect PC user; it makes more sense regarding commercial aspects to design an OS to meet the needs of the other few billion users.I envy you! Kari
Not needing to save except for once in a great while, and then being able to remember to do so, is a claim to perfection? What a wierd post

You can create a batch file using taskkill. An icon could reside on the task bar to kill the ms paint program.
    **EDIT**
    For instance, Taskkill /IM firefox.exe /F
    would forcefully kill firefox.
Thanks. Just did that and it was just what I needed. It also kills all open instances of mspaint at once, which is very convenient as well. I knew someone constructive would come along. Maybe its not as fun as being judgemental, but its better for those it impacts, every time.

A hot fix here is to use right-click on the mspaint-windows on the taskbar, and "Close all".

Then use the hoykey-for using on the promt for "Do you want to save the changes?"

My button was "n" for "Don't Save".

kill the process itself if you have many open windows and you don't want to save the changes :
    taskkill /f /im mspaint.exe
