Short verison of the story, some files are missing off my computer idk how many i only know of 2 and those are under My computer under S3A8955D004 click the User folder and there is usually 3 folders the one missing is default, now the other folder you Click on the one that has ur name on it and at the top there should be a folder called Appdata, well that one isn;t there either.
More problems is that msn isn't working and this program that my mom uses for her e-reader, and my internet history is deleted even though i have not deleted my history in any way. I was going to but when i looked it was already deleted.

Do you have the system set to show hidden files and folders?

What did you (or your Mom) do for this to have happened?

Offhand I think you should restore your computer to a previous stage when everything was tickety-boo.

I checked and no files are hidden, and we have done nothing, nothing out of the norm that is in other words nothing that would have messed up the computer like this, and i have done that but it still is the same

Run a full scan with Malwarebytes.

Run SFC -SCANNOW Command

You can try System Restore but it doesn't restore files, however if it gets before an infection they might be there anyway.

It's very rare for Appdata to go missing. Double check now you have it unhidden in Folder Options>View tab. Type it in Start Search box to see if it was moved into another folder.

Hm check the obvious if you haven't, like look in the recycling bin, and go to folder options and check the boxes so that nothing is hidden.
Past that, do a system restore and hopefully the most recent is a day before all this happened.

Hey one more question before i head to bed cause i just realized this. Last week my computer went black and when it came back on it said "display driver stopped responding" then it happen again 4 days later then again another 4 days later. Would that have to do with any ofthe problems i have now?

Not likely. But you should update your Display driver anyway, or reinstall the one you have if there isn't another recent driver.

Let us know how the other steps given work out.
