If you have the iso image on a different drive, make a new folder, extract the files from the iso image and run setup.exe .... Done and Done....

i didn't have vista installed, but i was going to install it to dual boot like it was before and it won't let me re arm and i am using the 7600 RTM
and myzr, im not allowed to get win 7 because my dad won't let me get ANY software over 150 pound and the ultimate upgrade is A LOT
Well Jack, maybe you can find 7 home premium for under the 150 limit to start with. then over time you can use the Windows any time upgrade to get to the ultimate level. Like after a year drop another 150 and do a wau to 7 pro. then after another period of time do another one for a 150lbs and get ultimate. Maybe your father would be inclined to go that for you. Anyway good luck to you and I must say congrats at what you do have in the way of knowledge at such a young age.

Not sure about thoose prices in the uk since I am from Kansas
Customers will be able to upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Home Premium for $79.99. Users who want to move from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional will pay $89.99. Finally, Windows 7 Home Premium users can upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate for $139.99.

The upgrade packages will be available at retail stores after Windows 7 is released to market on October 22nd. The online upgrade option from within Windows 7 will be available to users in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US.

but still i like my current OS just need a way of getting a key or resetting my rearms but to get a key i need some1 to be niceand give me or my dad to stop being a cheapo or get a re-arm reset, but that is not a good thing to do because if my computer techy found out he would go mental to me about illegally resetting a timebomb application set into the RTM

It seems to me your father has made his decision ... you're pleading with him on the one hand and calling him a bit*h on the other. Stop throwing a tantrum and either live with the situation or find other means of getting what you want ... they do exist ... but stop crying about it
