whats suspicious about getting good deals form Comet
and a tablet is good to set up presentations because u can customise more, its got more features and its got better security

you said you have proper os (vista ?) disc smashed? Just redownload vista and use your legal key to reinstall and reactivate...

If he is doing "coding on private servers" then I suggest he also knows someone with a Vista install DVD.

exactly... or if you do coding I'm sure you could set up a server of some kind and rent it out. I guarantee in 105 days if you hosted 2 servers you could make $120 at least (somewhere around 70 pounds).

Besides you ever try getting customer support, I'm sure you could work something out.

Oh... and if you are dual booting you should have vista anyways no problem. Not many reasons to not dual boot (yes there are some, but not many).

P.S. didn't you say you're getting new RAM and a new HD... how in the world do you have the money for that but not an OS considering your dad is cheap? I smell a scam
