Event ID 10 and MS Fix it 50688

Every boot I get Event ID: 10 in application log on Windows 7 Home 64bit Toshiba laptop.

    Event ID 10
Details - Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

The article below states that :- “This particular Event ID 10 error message listed above can be safely ignored, this is not indicative of a problem with the Service Pack or with the operating system.”

MS article - Event ID 10 is logged in the Application log after you install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

Has anyone successively used theMicrosoft Fix it 50688.
Were any problems created after using the Fix ?

If you are NOT having any actual issues or pop up alerts and your only seeing this in your event viewer then I would ignore it. MOST things in the event viewer can be ignored. If you have a boat load of errors in event viewer then maybe it would be a concern but if you paid attention to every single event there you would go crazy. Trust me I know
