    "Downloads" Has Vanished

I no longer have Downloads on my Computer page. The icon has vanished.

Can anyone suggest how to restore them?

    Hello ColMac,

Are you referring to your C:\Users\(user-name)\Downloads folder??

Could you post a screenshot of what you are referring to help? :)

I don't know what you mean by computer page.
To find your down loads open up Windows explores and it will be close to the top of the column on the left. You could also just type (download) in the search using the Start and while there you can right click on (download) go to send to and created a short cut (icon ) on your disk top.
If none of this helps please explain and I will or others will help you.
Sorry Brink I was typing while you were posting.

    Just now, I fixed it.

No idea what went wrong, but I did a System Restore, and the restored system now, as in the past, has a "Downloads" icon on the Computerscreen.

    Thanks, Brink.

...or do you mean on your start-menu?

    you can re-instate that by right-clicking on your start-orb >> properties >> start-menu tab >> customize... >> click the downloads/'display as link'

*edit* seems you fixed it while i was posting

I'm happy to hear that you got it sorted, but could you post back with a screenshot of the Downloads icon you were referring to just for reference?
