How To disable that Microphone jack detection system, broken joke.

How do I disable the automatic detection for my speaker output jack?

Once in a while when I change jacks on for my headphones / desktop speakers, the speaker jack "Fails to detect" the change.

WTF is that? I do not want some lame windows crap trying to since when I have something plugged in or not, ESPECIALLY if its not going to wokr.

ESPECIALLY if its going to lock itself from working when it fails to detect.

if I plug the cable in, I do not want windows checking and disableing.

well, i tried to "re"find the thread that showed me what to change in the registry editor, to disable the auto detect function.

I searched google a few more times and could not find it. but searching something with "Speaker jack auto detection disable windows 7" , somewhere I found how to disable the option in the registery.

I havent reset my computer yet, but id imagine it disabled. so probably solved.

I couldnt find the answer the first few times I checked google. so I posted.
    then I found it.
now I cant find it again, to repost the answer. X_x. so if anyone finds it.
    post it i guess ^ ^
