Windows Explorer keeps restarting, task manager unavailable.

Hello Friends

I am currently experiencing consistent restarting (every few seconds) of Windows Explorer on my PC. And this has caused the desktop to be unavailable/inaccessible. I'm desperate . To find out the error which is causing this, I need to access task manager (event viewer), which is also unavailable (greyed out when I right click on the task bar). By accessing the task manager, I hoped to stop the windows explorer process so that I can at least access to my school project. I cannot afford to reload the OS (Windows 7 Pro) as this will affect my school project.
Kindly offer me your solutions, thank you so much.

Looking forward to your replies.

Regards,
Rid08

I think a complete Malware scan would be a good starting point. Download Malwarebytes here Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

To follow a system file check is also good type SFC /scannow in the run line at the bottom of the menu. (the space after SFC is deliberate and needed)
