| | what did I do? In my document folder, just recently all my files now show the extensions. ie rules.doc ie friends.pdf etc, etc What did I do? And how do I get it back to showing the files minus their extensions? Thanks in advance |

| | Hello Skostro, Uncheck the Hide extensions for known file types box in Folder Options should take care of that for you.  File Extensions - Hide or Show Hope this helps, Shawn |

| | goto Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\folder options under view take the check mark out of hide extensions of known file types. that should do it. scrooge you all beat me to it... (lol) |
