Windows 7: Action Center icon isnt showing up in taskbar

I would suggest running the scan, if you had a virus or something, some will survive a format and install. If you are happy with it however, you are good.

Are you planning to reimport data that was backed up from the infected installation?

I would at the least scan it with Malwarebytes, MSE or Avast and perhaps SuperAntiSpyware. Even then I wouldn't reimport it unless absolutely necessary if you had an infection requiring clean reinstall.

i forgot to mention something guys sorry when i reformatted my pc after updating the windows and installing drivers i installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and did a full scan and found no viruses anything like that...

I would also scan the entire system with Malwarebytes

It can find badware others dont which is why we recommend it, and there is a free version.

ok i will also scan the entire system with malwarebytes tonight too
