how to remove "open autoplay" from context menu

hi, as per the title says... is there any way to remove "open autoplay" from context menu (while right-clicking drives)...

Hi.

The "normal"way to disable autoruns is,start\control\panel\AutoPlay....there you can make any changes you like.

Though i wonder why you have the autoplay option under a hard disk.

Do you have installed any media player like vlc,gom,kmp....?

yeah. that's wat i'm thinking.. the thing i did is tat, i've changed the drive letters yesterday.. after that, i came to see autoplay in D,E and F drives..:sick:. i haven't installed vlc,gom & kmp

It seems that windows "see" the hard disks as external (usb) drives.

If you disable Autoplay in Group Policy Editor it removes that from Drive context menu.
Better late than never.
