| Windows 7 Ultimate 354 posts Scotland | How do I stop recently opened programs sticking to the start menu? Hi, I like a clean start menu and the only thing I have on it is Mozilla Firefox. Whenever I open a program, it automatically appears on it and I have to manually remove it, it's really annoying. Is there any way of stopping things automatically going there? Here's an example; I have Mozilla Firefox at the top and nothing else, when I open WinRar, it automatically goes there and I have to remove it. |

| ultimate 64 sp1 8,636 posts | right-click start button/orb >> properties >> customize>> number of recent programs to display *edit* dwarf got there first |
