How users work

Hi,
I've been wondering for quite a long time now how users are handled. When I look in the "users" folder, I have Public access, "Default" user , "All users" and "Myname" user folder. Some folders have locks on them .... What is this all about ? Is there a way to just have one user with all permissions ?
If anyone can help to understand this, that would be great. Many thanks

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

I don't think there is any easy way of doing what you want and I'm not sure if the information in this Microsoft support article is what you're afterm, but I'll post it anyway.

How to customize the default local user profile when you prepare an image of Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2

The padlock on a folder denotes restricted access to that folder.
