The whole point of the Windows pre-order was to get a special discount. You won't get it any faster--you'll still be getting it on October 22. Since there is no pre-order discount for FP (it's already discounted a lot), and since pre-order people won't get their stuff until October 22 anyway, even if there was an option to preorder the FP, there won't be a point.

Win 7 Family Pack
I installed a second copy of Windows Home Premium on my Netbook. I now get a message 'Invalid Copy'. My question is the 'UPGRADE' is not really an upgrade but instead I need a new key. Will a Family Pack overlay an allready installed win 7. I will not be upgrading from XP or Vista.
