Windows 7: anyway to make my laptop startup w/o showing error when it doesnt prop

want to know if their is anyway to make my laptop startup w/o showing error when it doesnt properly shutdown.My keyboard shorted out,wiggled the ribbon & the connector came off the motherboard.I have no usb keyboards.So if i don't shut down properly,it shows the error message with options.Usually startup repair is highlighted by default.And since I have no keyboard to change the option,it starts that automatically after countdown & I can't cancel it.



It's very irritating.I just been using the on screen keyboard,I actually don't mind that.I know just shutting it down properly will fix this.But their is times where I lose power to laptop sometimes.Im not a noob,I normally leave my laptop plugged up w/o battery when I use it.Sometimes the plug comes out(dogs knock it out etc.).I know most laptops are supposed to stop sending a charge to batt once it's 100%.But I think it's bs & don't trust it.My preference & opinion

Get a replacement kb online, yeah not ysing ur battery is bad coz your directing all the power straight to ur hard ware

Btw op, do u still have ur power button? Set it as a shut down button it takes a lil bit longer tho

Kinda pointless to get a replacement kb when the ribbon cable connecter is off the mobo.and im not buying a usb kb.

my bad, the whole connector came of, i thought it was just the cable. im not sure but hopefully this might help you
