Tried it, and it fixed my recycle bin which was corrupt. Problem's still there though.

The only thing left to do is a Repair Install. Backup all your important files in case something goes wrong in the repair. It is not likely you will have any problems since the system is stable, but still a good idea to backup. Then download Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with Service Pack 1 ISO, burn the ISO to disc, and run through the steps in the repair install tutorial.
Any luck with the repair install?

I decided to do a clean format, but need to wait till I'm between projects. Need to do a format once a year anyways. Thanks.
You're welcome. Let us know if you need anything further. Best of luck.
Let us know when you do the format and how the system responds. :)

Actions like copyHere of the Shell.Application Namespace object are executed asynchronously. I am sure, this is the reason, why my zipping is only working well, if I do in in debugger line by line. And it's failing with an "File not found or no read permission" Error, when running in normal speed. Most probably that asynchronous execution in the background while the application thread is already executing further commands is the reason for that errors! And not a corrupted file system. And also not a corrupted Windows system!
