    upgrading

hi guys, i have windows 7 on my laptop i do like how it works, not on it to much mainly on my desktop that has vista. Now for the reason i am here.

I was wondering is it really worth it upgrading to win 7 from vista. because i have a little extra cash on me to buy it(not alot) lol, but i want it to be worth it.
I like playing games and i can run pretty much any thing on mid/max little problems here and there. run things like (swtor/wow/bf3/sr3) all on max.(but thats just on the graphic's card)

if it makes my system faster it maybe a staight buy there . just wondering what every one else would think. should i get it or not......and ty for you time. :)

If money is an issue, I'd probably hold off for now. Vista had plenty of issues right away, but if you keep it and your drivers updated, you'll be fine.

Yes, Windows 7 runs better and more efficiently, but an upgrade would probably run you nearly $80-$100 USD.

Chances are, unless you need some of the very specific features, you would be just fine with Home Premium.

Make sure you need any features before you pay the extra for a higher version - most users don't.

Remember to make a backup image, before loading too much stuff on it (just in case).
