    what are these files/folders? (1025, 1028 etc)

    Windows 7 home prem.

In my D drive (my Data) I have a folder e1bd7884278f66e8d5fd and it has 25 folders named, e.g. "1037" and "1044" etc. as well as folders "Client" and "Graphics." All the numeric-named folders contain a foreign language "rtf" file and an xml and a dll file.

Do I need all this? It takes a lot of my valuable hd space.

    thank you.

It looks like a temp folder from a software installation. Try moving it to a different location and check to see if everything still runs right. If so, delete it. If not, if something isn't working right, move it back and leave it.

Just my thoughts.... I could be wrong.

Thanks, ACR731; I have copied the whole mess to a USB flash drive and deleted it from "D" and crossed my fingers.

The first folder, with the long string is random characters, is usually left over from a Windows Update.
