    Yes that will be it

You can run the commands if you want - it's a bit long winded, tho.

Plenty of applications will load up the bcd store and let you edit it. Probably simpler.

    How about using EasyBCD?

What would be the steps to move WinRE to SysReserved after resizing it to what size?

I've got EasyBCD but I haven't worked out how to change those entries using that programme!

Hi gregrocker, my system reserved is currently 250mb but I'm going to extend it to 350mb first before I attempt any of this as I've read on technet that it's advisable to make it at least 300mb if it contains WinRE .

You could use Easybcd, I suppose - that can put an entry on the boot menu for any kind of bootable wim.

    What did you do exactly?

Did you just copy the entire Recovery folder onto another partition?

Or did you create Recovery\winre\winre.wim on another partition?

I haven't been able to do any of it yet SIW2 as I'm not at home to do it. And I want to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing before I attempt anything

Would I be able to just copy the Recovery Folder into SysReserved from Within Windows?

That partition with system is probably 100MB or 200MB, you probably will need 700MB for just system + winre, but if you plan to have an image.wim file on the partition also, you will need a lot more space. I have 10GB for my partition with an image on it. My system is 32bit and I see you are working with 64bit which makes some problems when trying to run 32 bit winre tools on a 64 bit system, but it can be done. Good luck.
