I'm impressed by the amount of people who have the badge. I am working towards this as well. I think it would be pretty neat to have a Cisco badge too Just because I'm finishing up my CCENT
But...
Congrats to All the Recipients!
Cisco have a strict policy in terms of representing a certified individual. When I got certified I had to agree to a Logo and Trademark Agreement. It says that you cannot use any logo on a website that offers a service. Not sure if this site does... Grey area?
Also if you are to put it into your signature you must abide by the size and colour requirements mentioned in the agreement. Also make sure you word the achievement appropriately. For example the certification should not be referenced as a noun.
lastly, You need to clearly reference the certification with your full name to avoid any confusion with Sevenforums themselves be Cisco certified. I'm saying this because Cisco will not hesitate to strip you of your certifications if you break the agreement. If you haven't done so already you will be required to agree upon start of your exam (At least that's what I had to do).
You can place it in your biography section of your profile here if you wish as long as you have your name referenced. Not sure about being in the signature though.
EDIT: Good luck with your exam
Also Congratulations Steve on your badge! Well deserved :)
Hope This Helps,
Josh :)
I never had to sign that piece of paper. Maybe its when I get my actual certificate. I have to take my A+ Network/Software/Hardware/Linux tests this coming week. But I have 7 months more to go in my cisco class. Even though I'm already certified I have to re-take the classes because my certification expires in a short while.
You're beating me on the posts! But unlike mine, I don't have nearly the resourcefulness that you do. I've learned a few things from you, already, Josh.
Side note; How do people know my name? Did I put it in my bio or something?
Well this has been a long time in the works but I seem to have broken the 5k answers mark,
