How to Robocopy my files to Linkstation.

I have setup a bat file to copy my files to the linkstation. As Below:

Robocopy "C:\Users\User\Documents\Janine" "B:\Documents\Janine" /MIR /E /SEC

But when it gets to certain files it says access denied. How do I get it to copy these files with permissions...

Hi,

Which file is causing issues?

Try this:

Code:
Robocopy C:\Users\User\Documents\Janine B:\Documents\Janine /MIR /E /COPYALL

Golden

Make sure that the file is not actually in use. For example, an Outlook PST file if opened will cause it to not be able to copy. I have to have Outlook shut down when I run my backup jobs.

No the files are not in use. It says I don't have the access permissions...

Thanks for your help Golden I made things easier by focusing on the files that I want backed up... But, the problem was locking up on My music folder for which no file exists as I don't keep music files on the Documents section....

Thanks Golden I am in the middle of looking it over. But, what I want to know is now I've got the bat file to run it shows the GUI and I don't want this. I was recommended on another site to Run as : SYSTEM in the Task Scheduler it then changed to the NT/Authority System is this correct? Will it work as I have tried it and it don't seem to work cos it has not copied a certain file...Named piggyback..

I've just tried it and it runs an error (0x10) as NT Authority SYSTEM
Also as ADMINISTRATOR it runs the code 2147943731
trying but not getting anywhere at the mo.
