YUMI MultiBoot...more than one Windows 7 ISO possible? G'day,
I've been playing around alot with some Unices, and in the process have built myself a little 16GB bootable USB drive using YUMI, that holds a collection of tools and ISO's such as :
- MemTest86+
- Partition Wizard 7
- Bitdefender Rescue Disk
- Ubuntu 12
- Mint 12
- Debian
- Zorin
- Windows 7 Ultimate x64
As far as I can tell, I can only add one Windows 7 ISO. The problem is I have two other laptops floating around : one runs Windows 7 Home Premium x86, the other runs Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
Does anyone know if it is possible to add these additional Windows 7 ISO's to my YUMI existing multiboot USB?
My goal is to have one USB drive, from which I can attend to any PC in the house.
Thanks,
Golden

you can quite easily make yourself an all-in-one windows installer which includes all flavours of win 7 in one iso.
there are several ways, but this method from SIW2 means that you don't have to download the mutli-gig WAIK tool. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number mickey megabyte 1234 OS ultimate 64 sp1 CPU i5 2500K 3.3@4.2GHz Motherboard MSI P67A-GD53 Memory 8 gigs GSkill Ripjaws 1600 Graphics Card amd hd6950 Sound Card creative x-fi gamer Monitor(s) Displays samsung 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard saitek eclipse ii Mouse logitech g3 PSU antec 550 Case antec three hundred Cooling i'm a cooling fan Hard Drives ocz vertex 2e 60 gig, samsung f3 1tb, buffalo 2tb ext Internet Speed about 4 Mbps Other Info i love win7 |

Ahhhh....I remember stumbling across this once - it looked complicated. I'll give it a crack and see what happens.
I wonder if I could merge it with my Linux/other tools.......
Thanks mickey. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Golden Mk. Creating the all-in-one Windows 7 USB disk was very easy and didn't take long at all. I followed the guide found here in tutorials. It creates a .iso file first, so that's what you'd need. It's a single .iso file, but it gives you choices for every version of Windows for both platforms. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i7-2600 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 Memory 12 GB Patriot Extreme DDR3-1333 Graphics Card Nvidia GTX 470 Monitor(s) Displays Dell UltraSharp 2209WA PSU OCZ ModStream 700W Case CoolerMaster HAF 912 Advanced Cooling CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus Hard Drives OCZ Agility3 240 GB, WD5001AALS, WD7501AALS |

I wonder if you could do the same for Windows Vista (and Windows 8 when it comes out). | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x86/Ubuntu CPU Intel Core i5 2500k at 3.3 GhZ Memory 2x4GB DDR3 1333Hz Graphics Card Ati Radeon 6770 Sound Card Speakers Monitor(s) Displays 1x 15" HD 572 Screen Resolution 1024x768 Keyboard Wired Keyboard Mouse Wired Mouse Cooling 3x Fans Hard Drives 2x500GB Internet Speed 10MB/s Other Info Netbook: Dell Inspiron Mini |

Here's the guide I followed to create an all-in-one DVD .iso file. Once complete (and I tested in a VM), I used the Microsoft USB/DVD tool to "burn" the .iso to a flash drive. Anytime! It's been very convenient for me. Be aware, that some 4 GB USB flash drives can't fit the entire image. I have a Patriot and a Sandisk 4 GB drive that won't work. I had to use one of my 8 GB drives. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i7-2600 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 Memory 12 GB Patriot Extreme DDR3-1333 Graphics Card Nvidia GTX 470 Monitor(s) Displays Dell UltraSharp 2209WA PSU OCZ ModStream 700W Case CoolerMaster HAF 912 Advanced Cooling CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus Hard Drives OCZ Agility3 240 GB, WD5001AALS, WD7501AALS |

Windows Vista came with all editions on a single DVD, well almost x64 and x86 were on different discs. Windows 7 just continues what was started with Windows Vista. Windows 8 continues as well. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Inspiron e1705 OS Windows 7 (7600) x86 CPU Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2 GHz) Motherboard Unknown Dell MB Memory 2 GB Graphics Card ATI Mobility Radeon x1400 (128 MB Dedicated) Sound Card SigmaTel HD Audio; Turtle Beach Audio Advantage SRM Monitor(s) Displays Laptop 17" Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Other Info Dell Inspiron Mini 10v (Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz; 1GB; Windows 7 Ultimate) YUMI MultiBoot...more than one Windows 7 ISO possible? problems?
