I hope I am explaining this correctly...
I have searched through the threads here and throughout the internet and I can't seem to find any information related to stopping IE8/Windows 7 from:
1. unzipping the download automatically to a temp directory after download
2. unzipping the downoad automatically when you actually are able to specify the download directory.
For example, flight simulation is a hobby of mine, and whenever I do to a site like Avsim, FlightSim.com, or Simviation to download files, it always ends up that the download will automatically start and unzip in the temp dir. Below was the directory the file decompressed in today.
x:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\1QVNB3N8\woa_aircargogermany_v1[1].zip
Basically, I want to be able to control the unzipping/decompressing of files I download.
Regards.
