    how do i drop and drag?


    i have some files that are numbered they are out of order and i want to put them back in order it will not let me drag them

    Presuming your on the desktop, right click on an empty space select view and unchecked auto arrange

    Welcome,

    Above the top folder or file click on Name twice.

    Let us know if that works.

    In Windows Explorer, you can sort items viewed by NAME, DATE MODIFIED, TYPE, SIZE. Is this what you're talking about?

    there are 203 files but i want them in order 1-203 i tried to drag them it wouldn't let me and sort by would not work

    Most any folder you can click on Name to reverse order then click on Name again to resort them.
