Windows Seven RC1 Random Shutdowns event 41

I have been using windows seven as my primary operating system for almost 3 months now, and I have been beta testing for even longer. My Problem began about the end of July. It would randomly shut down during the day. It happened about 3 times that day. I had not installed any new software or made any changes. The Next day (after mentioning it to my dad who I thought might have an idea of where to go) it stopped, just as it had started. Last Tuesday (conveniently enough my first day of school) it started again. I am at a loss at what could possibly be causing these issues. I have searched about everywhere for someone with a similar issue, but I cannot find any recent occurrences. As far as I can tell from the shutdown it is not a hardware error. When it is shutting down it tells me that several programs are blocking a shut down and it asks me to force shutdown. If I select force shutdown it will shutdown as it should (going through the shutting down screen), but if I select cancel it gives me about 1 second of control and then the system powers off without the shutdown screen.(like what you would see if you pulled the power cable on a desktop machine).

I would like to thank you in advance for any help that you can give me,
    Mwmisner

Check the Action Center for issues.
Check the Event Viewer...Windows Logs... System and Applications logs for errors.
Go to Start and type in "perfmon /report" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
Go to Start and type in "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) and press Enter.

Zip up the contents of the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and upload the .zip file with your next post.

Generate a report in msinfo32.exe, save it as an .nfo file, zip it up and upload it with your next post.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Stupid thought, so forgive me here, but did you add/install a valid registration key?

Windows 7 RC1 expired months ago.... if your still running it (as the title suggests) I suggest you upgrade to the RTM. Its shutting down because the RC has expired

For some reason, MySys41Cash posted on a thread that is over a year old.

MySys41Cash, please post a new thread in the Crashes and Debugging part of the website. There are certain people that seem to reply primarily or solely in that section and know a lot about what the event logs and dumb files mean than a lot of people. Looking at the event log, I can't see where it mentions anything specifically. It might be a RAM problem. Post a new thread over there and someone will be able to shed more light on the situation.

    Event 41

This one is scarey. It's a show-stopper. I've spent wayyy too much time working and researching this one, and I've found no one who has found a universal solution.

Trust me, the reload driver, change video, blah-blah is not the permanent solution. Once you get this, it usually reappears sooner or later.
