aligned partition on the SSD

I'm all new to this SSD stuff and I was reading about making sure your SSD is aligned. I've re-install Windows 7 Pro on my machine using windows, but futher reading may indicated that it didn't do a good job. Below are the screen shots of the rest of the story.

Are they okay?

Yes, looks unaligned (31kb), what did you use to create the partition?

Unfortunately, it's a bit involved.

SSD - Fix Misalignment

It may be easier just to do another reinstall of Windows 7 but do the alignment from the get-go:

I always follow the instructions that FliGi7 posted, but I never create the 100 MB partition. Also, I try to minimize my total partitions to no more than 2 per drive. My 240 GB SSD is one single partition, and so are each of my spinners, just for simplicity and organizational sake.

Okay guys I do know the following about ths SSD. The first part of the drive is OEM. What's there I have no clue about it. The smaller part WAS and I repeat Was the ISO to repair the computer (windows 7) for a clean install. That got wipe out when I used to reformat it. The larger part is the OS/data. So, with that being said, what will happen if I don't realign the drive again. If I have to reformat the whole thing and repartition the drive, how can I get the OEM back, as I believe and I'm not sure is formatted in FAT 14 (I think).

If the SSD is not aligned properly, you will suffer a serious performance penalty.

Post a picture of your current Disk Management.

You may have to use something like Partition Wizard to see what is on the OEM partition.
