i would run a sfc (System File Checker) scan to begin and see if windows finds corrupt files and repairs them please read brinks tutorial here >>> SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - Windows 7 Forums

Quote:
The sfc /scannow command (System File Checker) scans the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible.

Agree with all of the above. Antivirus scan first, then malwarebytes (if you have it installed - since you don't have internet access), then system restore, the sfc.

If you don't have an anti-virus product, then download the following from another computer, burn the iso to the cd, and boot this computer off the cd for virus scan.
