What do I need for drive Bitlocker / TPM?

I have a board with a TPM header, but I can't find anywhere to buy a module to go in it. Are these standard thing or do I need one for the motherboard specifically? Is it even required for Bitlocker to work properly?

    It's a Gigabyte GA-P67X-UD3-B3 motherboard.

You don't need TPM to use bitlocker.

Would this reduce the security? Presumably the TPM is there for a reason.
