Windows 7: Accidentally deleted a folder

I accidentally deleted a folder containing my music. This folder is separate from the actual "My Music" folder. Is there any way of restoring it?

Try with free Recuva at first.

This may work only if you have System Restore enabled.

Don't do anything else with the system, and then download the portable version of Recuva. Run that form a flash drive or another hard drive (not the one the folder was on) and it should get back most if not all of what you deleted.

Hello Elao,

In addition, if you haven't emptied the Recycle Bin yet, then you could just open the Recycle Bin and restore the deleted folder.

Was this a included folder in your Music library?

In addition to all of the above, if you right Click in the Folder and select Properties. Then select Previous Versions, restore to an older version and see if it is there. You can also use System Restore if that doesn't help.

So if I want to Restore Favourites, I Right Click the folder and select Properties and restore using Previous Versions.
